This restaurant in Tribeca, from the “Employees Only“ crew, just opened. The decor has been bargain-hunted all over the place. Some pieces come even from Asia. The atmosphere reminds one of an old opium place where the filtered light gives an intimate almost secretive feeling. The bar has a beautiful, slightly lighted wall that displays alcool bottles. People hang out here waiting to be seated at their tables, though, some eat their dinner at the bar. Macao’s crowd is mainly hipsters. It’s a great spot to scout looks especially girls one’s. This restaurant definitely belongs to the New-York scene. Last but not least, you can end the night in the lounge located in the basement. Even more opium style ! RB.
