Click Gallery on Center Street is having a Patrick Demarchelier’s photo exhibition. It will open, december 8, – tomorrow- with Patrick himself who will sign books from 6.30 to 8 pm.

Click Gallery belongs to Christian Celle who launched the very successfull brand Calipsos a few years ago. She opened many shops but the most amazing was that she would settle on the corners towards Lafayette and Broome. She sold her fashion business, opened a photo one – her husband is a pretty know commercial photographer- and decided again to set up around the same spots. She already owns three spaces… a photobook shop (1) and two galleries (2).

These photo places are definitely not the best in town. The editorial choices are expected and there are barely any surprise. Therefore, she goes for the known photographers. I have to say that it’s a pleasant stop to cast an eye when you are in the neighborhood. RB
