Amongst the peculiarity of NYC, there is the birth of graffiti i.e the birth of a new culture in the 70’s. In 1974, the iconoclast Norman Mailer wrote an essay about this art pairing Jon Naar’s stunning photography. The Faith of Graffiti became a milestone.
